Phlebotomist - Float

Role: Float Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and patient service across multiple sites. Objectives include ensuring accurate sample collection, data entry, and maintaining specimen logs while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture, specimen prep, billing, administrative duties, and site travel. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or 3+ months experience; preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. Biopharma specifics: diagnostic testing, specimen handling, and quality standards. Collaboration with healthcare providers and site teams; reporting to laboratory or supervisory staff. Work setup: on-site at Liverpool, NY, with travel to additional locations; schedule includes weekdays, rotating Saturdays; flexibility for overtime. Additional qualifications include strong communication skills, customer service experience, and valid driver’s license.
