Phlebotomist - Float

Role: Float Phlebotomist providing blood collection services across multiple sites in Macomb County, MI, supporting diagnostic testing and specimen processing. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests; accurately enter patient data; manage specimen prep and logs; deliver excellent customer service; handle administrative tasks; travel to various locations as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, with 2+ years preferred; valid certification from an accredited agency if no experience; valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; ability to pass color blindness test; at least 21 years old. Preferred: outpatient lab experience; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and flexibly, including overtime.
