Phlebotomist Float

Role: Phlebotomist Float supporting Labcorp’s diagnostic services across multiple sites in Salem, VA. Responsibilities: perform blood draws via venipuncture and capillary techniques, process specimens, maintain patient and testing records, and ensure quality specimen handling. Provide excellent customer service and support administrative tasks; may travel to additional locations as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; 1+ year phlebotomy experience or certification from an accredited agency; strong communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams; pass color blindness test; valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; 21+ years old. Preferred: experience in diverse patient populations and flexible schedule.
