Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection and specimen processing in a clinical setting. Objectives include delivering high-quality patient care, specimen collection for various tests, and maintaining accurate data and specimen logs. Responsibilities encompass performing venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, processing specimens, data entry, billing, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred 2+ years of clinical or hospital phlebotomy experience, or certification from an accredited agency. Skills include strong communication, ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments, flexibility for overtime and travel, and minimal supervision. High-Value: clinical specimen collection, venipuncture/capillary techniques, experience in hospital or high-volume labs, and certification. Work setup: primarily on-site in Cameron, TX, with occasional site travel; schedule Monday-Friday, with potential overtime and weekend hours.
