Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and delivering high-quality patient service within a diagnostic and laboratory environment. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary collections across all age groups; collect specimens for tests including drug screens and paternity tests; accurately document patient and specimen data; prepare samples for testing; handle administrative duties such as billing and data entry; and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification, completed training, or 3+ months experience; strong communication skills; reliable transportation; and ability to pass color blindness test. Preferred qualifications: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. Work setup: primarily in Patient Service Centers or client sites, with travel as needed; schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with possible overtime.
