Phlebotomist (Evergreen)

Role: Plasma donation technician responsible for donor blood collection via venipuncture and pheresis, ensuring compliance with SOPs, FDA guidelines, and safety protocols. Objectives include efficient plasma collection, donor safety, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities encompass donor setup, monitoring, troubleshooting equipment, documenting incidents, and educating donors about plasma products. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 12 months healthcare or medical environment experience; for CA centers, certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or RN license may be required. Preferred skills include bilingual abilities and cross-training in other areas. High-Value: involvement in therapeutic plasma collection, adherence to HSE and OSHA policies, and knowledge of hyperimmune programs if applicable.
