Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing specimen collection and customer service in clinical or client settings. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws, handle specimens for various tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), enter patient data, process billing, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain logs. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months of experience. Preferred: 6+ months experience, proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently, reliable transportation, and pass color blindness test. HighValue: specimen collection (venipuncture, capillary), clinical/corporate settings, patient interactions, data entry, and specimen processing. WorkSetup: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating Saturdays, eventual shift change to 9:00am-6:00pm, based in Woodbridge, VA, with flexibility for overtime.
