Phlebotomist

Role: Not applicable (Phlebotomist position). Objectives: Perform blood collection, specimen processing, and deliver exceptional patient service within a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: conduct venipuncture and capillary draws, handle specimens for various tests, accurately log data, process billing, and support administrative tasks; ensure specimen integrity and compliance. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Phlebotomy certification or relevant training, or 3+ months experience; strong customer service, communication skills, and ability to work independently; reliable transportation; flexibility for overtime and travel. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: Patient service, specimen collection for diagnostic tests, work in clinical lab environment, potentially involving travel; roles in healthcare diagnostics, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer care. WorkSetup: roles based in Ashburn, VA, with site coverage including patient service centers or client offices; schedule Monday-Friday with every other Saturday, possibly requiring travel.
