Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient interaction, data entry, and specimen processing at Labcorp’s Anchorage, AK location. Primary objectives include providing high-quality blood draw services, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture and capillary collections across all age groups, specimen preparation, billing, and administrative duties, with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of 3 months phlebotomy experience or accredited training/certification; ability to pass color blindness test; flexible to work overtime; strong communication and customer service skills; comfort working independently or in teams. Preferred: more than 6 months experience with Labcorp or in phlebotomy. Additional standards involve certification or training from an accredited agency and passing a color blindness test. This role involves working Monday to Friday with potential additional hours and travel.
