Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen handling services in a diagnostic laboratory setting. Objectives include ensuring accurate specimen collection, data entry, and customer service. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture/capillary draws, process specimens, document patient info, and support administrative tasks; may require travel to multiple sites. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; certification or training in phlebotomy or 3+ months experience; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred: 1+ year of experience, proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently, pass color blindness test. Work setup: on-site at Patient Service Centers or client locations in Martinsville, VA; Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with potential overtime and travel. Focus on healthcare diagnostics, specimen collection, and customer interaction, with emphasis on quality and compliance in a clinical environment.
