Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services at a clinical setting, supporting diagnostic testing and patient care. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, collect various specimens (drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests), process and prepare samples for testing, maintain accurate patient and specimen logs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Additional duties include data entry, billing support, administrative tasks, and potential site travel. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 6+ months of phlebotomy experience or certification from an accredited agency; strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills; reliable transportation; ability to pass color blindness test. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience; flexibility for overtime.
