Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient data entry, and providing customer service at Labcorp's Overland Park, KS location. Objectives include accurate blood collection via venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen processing, and maintaining documentation to support diagnostic testing and laboratory operations. Responsibilities encompass specimen collection from diverse age groups, data management, billing, specimen preparation, and administrative duties, with flexibility to travel between sites. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; preferred certifications include accredited phlebotomy training or 1+ year experience; ability to pass color blindness test; strong communication skills; customer service focus; ability to work independently or in teams; flexible schedule for overtime and travel.
