Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient interaction, and administrative duties in a clinical laboratory setting. Objectives: provide accurate blood draws, process specimens, ensure data entry accuracy, and deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, data logging, billing, and potential travel to additional sites. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED; 1+ year of phlebotomy experience or completion of an accredited certification/training program; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and reliably commute. Preferred: 2+ years of outpatient lab experience. High-Value: outpatient setting, specimen collection for drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests; compliance with lab safety and quality standards; flexibility for overtime and travel; work in Kentucky. Work setup: in-office with possible travel.
