Phlebotomist -Cancer Center

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services at Labcorp's Knoxville, TN location. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, collect diverse specimens (drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests), accurately enter patient data, prepare samples for testing, and maintain specimen logs. Additional duties include billing, customer service, administrative tasks, and potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience or certification from an accredited agency. Preferred: strong customer service skills, effective communication, ability to work independently or in teams, reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, pass color blindness test.
