Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist specializing in plasma pheresis procedures, supporting blood donation operations. Responsibilities: perform donor set-up, venipuncture, monitor donor safety, troubleshoot equipment, record data accurately, educate donors, and maintain a compliant, safe work environment. Coordinates with team to ensure efficient donor flow and adheres to SOPs, FDA guidelines, and safety protocols. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist or in healthcare; ability to perform routine procedures, operate equipment, and handle physical demands. Preferred: prior training in CSL Plasma DST or healthcare experience. HighValue: plasma donation, pheresis process, FDA compliance, blood safety, working with bloodborne pathogens, and handling hazardous chemicals. WorkSetup: part-time (25-30 hours/week), primarily 2pm-9pm shifts, every other weekend, in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment requiring overtime and extended hours.
