Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection and patient interaction in clinical settings, supporting diagnostic testing and laboratory operations. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws for all ages; collect specimens for various tests; ensure accurate data entry; process billing and payments; prepare samples for testing; maintain logs; deliver exceptional customer service; perform administrative duties. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; certified or trained in phlebotomy or minimum 3 months experience; strong customer service skills; effective communication; ability to work independently or in teams; pass color blindness test; reliable transportation; flexible schedule including overtime. Preferred qualifications: 6+ months of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: clinical specimen collection, outpatient or client office setting, customer service focus, training/certification from accredited agency. Work setup: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with rotating weekends; location in Charlotte, NC; potential for growth and benefits eligibility.
