Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient service, and administrative tasks in a diagnostic lab setting. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, data entry, billing, and delivering excellent customer service; may involve travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric patients or certification from an accredited agency. Skills: Strong communication, customer service, ability to work independently, reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, passing color blindness tests. Preferred: Phlebotomy certification, experience in a clinical setting. High-Value: Diagnostic testing, specimen collection, patient interaction, potential participation in performance-based incentive plans. Work Setup: Patient Service Center with some travel; schedule varies Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays.
