Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services within a hospital setting. Objectives: ensure accurate specimen collection, data entry, and customer service; support laboratory testing operations. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for all ages, collect various specimen types, prepare samples for analysis, manage patient and specimen logs, and handle administrative tasks; may include travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; preferred certification or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience, from an accredited program; ability to pass color blindness test; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently or with a team; flexibility for overtime and travel.
