Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient interaction, data entry, and specimen processing at Labcorp's Virginia Beach site. Objectives: deliver accurate blood draws across all age groups, ensure specimen integrity, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture, collect various samples, handle billing, maintain logs, and support administrative tasks; travel to additional sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in phlebotomy or 6+ months of experience; ability to pass color blindness test; strong communication and customer service skills; flexibility for overtime. Preferred: over one year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: patient service, specimen processing, collection from diverse age groups, working in a clinical setting. Work setup: on-site in Virginia Beach, VA, with occasional travel; schedule from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
