Phlebotomist (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Role: Phlebotomist/Plasma Collection Technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, collecting plasma from donors, and ensuring donor safety and product quality. Responsibilities: conduct venipuncture, monitor and manage the pheresis process, troubleshoot equipment, record data accurately, and educate donors on donation procedures and hyperimmune programs if applicable. Maintain safety protocols, handle donor reactions, and ensure a clean work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare setting; trained in CSL Plasma DST or comparable experience. Preferred: 1+ year healthcare experience. HighValue: blood/plasma collection, donor management, adherence to FDA and SOP guidelines, equipment troubleshooting, safety and confidentiality, with potential cross-training in related areas. WorkSetup: physical presence in a plasma collection center, with exposure to hazardous chemicals and bloodborne pathogens; overtime and extended hours may be required.
