Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services at a medical clinic. Objectives: deliver accurate phlebotomy, ensure specimen integrity, and offer excellent patient care. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, process specimens, enter patient data, and handle administrative tasks including billing when needed; travel to additional sites if required. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist or accreditation from an approved training program; strong customer service, communication skills, and ability to work independently; pass a color blindness test. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience; proven customer service record. High-Value: role involves specimen collection for diagnostic testing, including drug screens and paternity tests, with emphasis on accuracy and patient interaction.
