Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection services and specimen processing within a diagnostic laboratory setting. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for all age groups, handle specimen prep, document patient and specimen data accurately, and ensure quality customer interactions. Additional duties include data entry, billing, specimen processing, and travel to multiple sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency, or at least 3 months of experience; preferred one or more years of experience. High-Value: diagnostic testing, specimen collection, patient service, working in a clinical laboratory environment, with flexibility to work in a Patient Service Center, including potential overtime and site travel. Work setup: primarily onsite in Warren, Michigan, with occasional travel. Qualifications include strong communication skills, customer service focus, reliability, and ability to work independently or in teams.
