Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and providing exceptional patient/customer service in clinical and laboratory settings. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws; collect specimens for various tests; accurately enter patient data; process billing and payments; maintain specimen and patient logs; prepare samples for testing; and handle administrative tasks. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; certification or training in phlebotomy, or at least 3 months of experience; strong communication skills and customer service experience; reliable transportation; ability to work independently and flexibly; pass a color blindness test. Preferred qualifications include over one year of phlebotomy experience.
