Phlebotomist

Role: Bilingual Pediatric Phlebotomist providing blood collection and point-of-care testing services. Objectives include delivering accurate test results promptly, ensuring specimen integrity, and delivering superior patient service. Responsibilities encompass performing venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, data entry, specimen processing, result recording, and administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma; at least 1 year of pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience; certification or training in phlebotomy from an accredited agency; proven customer service skills; strong communication; reliable transportation; passing a color blindness test. Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish; additional pediatric experience. High-value biopharma specifics: Pediatric specimen collection, point-of-care testing focus, clinical diagnostics environment. Work setup: Onsite at Chicago, IL, with some travel; flexible weekday schedule. Emphasis on customer service, specimen handling, and working independently within a clinical or diagnostic setting.
