Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services within healthcare and research settings. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, collect specimens for various tests, accurately enter data, prepare samples for testing, and ensure patient and specimen logs are maintained. The role also involves delivering excellent customer service, performing administrative tasks, and traveling to additional sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or 3+ months experience; strong communication skills; reliable transportation; flexibility to work overtime; pass color blindness test. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: clinical laboratory environment, specimen collection, customer service, potential for career growth, and work in either Patient Service Centers or client offices. Work setup: primarily in Ohio, with possible travel; schedule Monday-Thursday, 11am-8pm, with Friday and rotating Saturday shifts; benefits available for full-time employees.
