Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen handling services in a Patient Service Center. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for diverse patient age groups, collect specimens for various tests, ensure accurate data entry, process specimens for testing, maintain logs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Additional duties include administrative tasks and specimen preparation. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, or 3+ months relevant experience; preferred at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Qualifications: ability to work independently, strong communication skills, flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed, pass color blindness test, and reliable transportation. WorkSetup: on-site in Eldersburg, MD, with scheduled hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, and occasional Saturdays; potential for overtime and site travel.
