Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient data entry, and specimen processing in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture, specimen handling, data management, billing support, and administrative duties, with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, or certification from an accredited agency; proven customer service skills and strong communication abilities. Preferred: Over 2 years of outpatient lab experience. High-Value: Involves blood collection for diagnostic testing, potentially in outpatient or clinical environments; requires adherence to GxP standards; may involve working with diverse populations and flexible scheduling. Collaboration involves working within a clinical team, with travel as needed. Work setup: On-site in Carbondale, Illinois, Monday through Friday, with overtime flexibility.
