Role: Plasma donation technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring process efficiency and safety. Responsibilities: execute venipuncture and plasma collection per SOPs and FDA guidelines; evaluate vein performance; educate donors on plasma donation and related topics; monitor for donor reactions; record incidents and data accurately; troubleshoot equipment issues; manage donor flow; collect samples; maintain a clean environment and adhere to safety protocols; and support cross-training as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare environment; able to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in a fast-paced setting. Preferred: CSL Plasma DST training or equivalent experience. High-Value: focus on blood/plasma donation process, adherence to FDA/SOP guidelines, equipment troubleshooting, donor safety, and data recording. Work setup: physical presence in a plasma collection center; overtime and extended hours may be required.
