Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing specimen collection and customer service in healthcare settings, supporting diagnostic testing operations. Responsibilities: perform blood draws via venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens for various tests, ensure accurate data entry, process billing and payments, prepare samples for testing, and maintain logs. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency, or 3+ months experience; proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently, reliable transportation, and pass a color blindness test. Preferred: 6+ months phlebotomy experience. HighValue: direct patient interaction, specimen collection, administrative duties, and flexibility to work variable hours including overtime. WorkSetup: onsite in Reston, VA, with a regular M-F 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule. Compensation ranges from $17.75 to $26.00 hourly, with eligibility for benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and potential performance bonuses.
