Phlebotomist

Role: Plasma donation technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Primary objectives include efficient plasma collection, donor safety, and accurate data recording. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture, vein evaluation, donor education, reaction management, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare setting; CSL Plasma DST training or equivalent. Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience. High-value specifics: Focus on plasma collection via pheresis, adherence to FDA regulations, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting; applicable to biopharma plasma manufacturing and therapeutic plasma programs. Cross-training and bilingual skills may be advantageous. Work setup includes physical tasks in a fast-paced environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and extended hours, requiring PPE use and safety compliance.
