Primary objectives include efficient plasma collection, donor safety, and accurate data recording. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture, vein evaluation, donor education, reaction management, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare setting; CSL Plasma DST training or equivalent. Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience. High-value specifics: Focus on plasma collection via pheresis, adherence to FDA regulations, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting; applicable to biopharma plasma manufacturing and therapeutic plasma programs. Cross-training and bilingual skills may be advantageous. Work setup includes physical tasks in a fast-paced environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and extended hours, requiring PPE use and safety compliance.
