Phlebotomist

Role: Plasma donor technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring product quality and donor safety. Responsibilities include venipuncture, donor set-up, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, monitoring donor reactions, and recording data accurately within SOPs and electronic systems. The role involves educating donors, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting hyper immune programs if applicable. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare setting; proficiency in equipment use, troubleshooting, and documentation. Preferred: Additional experience in medical environments, bilingual skills, and training in CSL Plasma DST. High-value specifics: Focus on blood collection via pheresis, adherence to FDA and safety guidelines, and involvement in plasma collection for therapeutic products. Work setup entails a fast-paced environment requiring physical dexterity, the ability to work extended hours, and compliance with safety protocols.
