      Role Summary
 Phlebotomist position responsible for ensuring donor safety and product purity during plasma collection, monitoring donors through the process, and managing samples and storage in accordance with ADMA procedures.
 Responsibilities
 
  - Identify donors in accordance with SOPs.
 
  - Greet donors professionally and set up collection devices.
 
  - Perform arm scrubs to ensure donor safety and product purity.
 
  - Verify labels and ensure correct print and alignment; label collection bottles per SOPs.
 
  - Collect and label required samples at the donor bedside.
 
  - Inspect supplies for integrity and cleanliness; perform quality control of equipment.
 
  - Operate automated collection equipment per SOPs and manufacturer instructions.
 
  - Disclose and document any collection issues; disconnect donors from equipment and ensure donor condition before release.
 
  - Stage units and samples for shipment and testing; maintain organization in freezer.
 
  - Interact professionally with donors and collaborate with coworkers; uphold teamwork and courtesy.
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - Ability to understand and interpret government regulations and customer specifications.
 
  - Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
 
  - Computer proficiency with intermediate skills in office programs.
 
 
 Experience
 
  - Physically arranges cases and samples in the freezer for easy retrieval.
 
  - Performs quality control of equipment; obtains backup samples as required.
 
  - Maintains confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
 
  - Assists with administrative duties to support Donor Center initiatives; attends training and meetings.
 
  - Monitors donors for signs of reaction; documents collection issues; ensures proper documentation for equipment and donation software.
 
  - Disconnects donor after collection and verifies donor condition; reports unsafe situations to supervisor.
 
 
 Preferred Experience
 
  - Previous experience as a phlebotomist in a blood or plasma collection center (preferred).
 
  - Minimum of 12 months in the health field or an equivalent combination of experience and education (preferred).
