Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient service, and specimen processing at Labcorp. Objectives: deliver accurate blood draws, perform specimen handling, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages; collect various specimens; accurately enter patient data; process billing and payments; maintain logs; and perform administrative duties. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or minimum 3 months experience; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently; reliable transportation; flexibility for overtime and travel. Preferred: 2+ years of experience with diverse patient populations. HighValue: clinical diagnostics, specimen collection, patient interaction, competency in handling diverse age groups, and working in either a Patient Service Center or client site. WorkSetup: onsite in LaPorte, IN; travel to additional sites as needed; schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating Saturdays.
