Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection and specimen processing in a clinical setting, supporting diagnostic testing and patient care. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, collect various specimens (drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests), accurately enter patient data, prepare specimens for testing, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service. Additional duties include administrative tasks and site travel as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; certification or training in phlebotomy from an accredited agency or 3+ months experience; strong communication skills, customer service aptitude, dependability, and ability to work independently. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-value: clinical specimen collection, patient interaction, working in patient service centers or client offices, flexible hours including potential overtime, and travel. Compensation range: $17.75–$25.92/hour, with eligibility for performance-based quarterly bonuses and comprehensive benefits for those working 20+ hours/week. Work setup: on-site at Ohio location, with some site travel, working Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays.
