Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and providing customer service at Labcorp's Charlottesville PSC. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, collect various tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), maintain accurate patient and specimen logs, process billing, and handle administrative duties. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or 3+ months experience. Preferred: over 1 year of phlebotomy experience. HighValue: specimen collection for diagnostic testing, specimen processing, customer service, and data entry; flexibility for overtime and site travel. WorkSetup: on-site, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with rotating Saturdays; travel to additional sites as needed.
