Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities include donor set-up, venipuncture, equipment troubleshooting, maintaining accurate records, and donor education. Ensures donor safety, process efficiency, and quality of collected plasma; monitors for adverse reactions and manages equipment alarms. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; 6+ months’ experience as a phlebotomist or in healthcare; proficiency in venipuncture, equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and recordkeeping. Preferred: 1+ year healthcare experience, bilingual skills, and CSL Plasma DST training. High-value specifics: experience within a blood/plasma collection center, familiarity with health safety protocols, OSHA/HSE policies, and working in a fast-paced environment; physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and work extended hours; the role may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous chemicals. Work setup: physical, on-site environment with mandatory PPE; overtime and extended hours may be required.
