Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection services at Labcorp's Winchester, TN location. Objectives include performing venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, processing specimens for testing, and delivering excellent patient/customer service. Responsibilities encompass specimen collection, data entry, billing support, specimen prep, and administrative duties, with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months experience; preferred qualifications are 3+ years of experience and proven customer service skills. The role involves working in either a Patient Service Center or client setting, with schedule Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm. Biopharma-specific details: emphasis on specimen collection, diagnostic testing, and quality assurance; potential involvement in clinical specimen handling; and working in a regulated, GxP environment.
