Phlebotomist

Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for performing venipuncture, managing pheresis procedures, and monitoring donor safety in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities: set up and disconnect donors, evaluate vein performance, educate donors, record incidents using PDA, troubleshoot equipment, perform calibrations and maintenance, monitor donor flow, collect samples, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; at least 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare setting; proficiency in PPE use and safety protocols. Preferred: prior CSL Plasma DST training or similar; bilingual skills may be advantageous. High-Value: experience in a medical or healthcare environment; familiarity with blood or plasma collection processes; ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment with physical demands such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods; adherence to OSHA and HSE policies. WorkSetup: physical, with overtime and extended hours as needed; frequent exposure to blood borne pathogens and chemicals.
