Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection and patient service in a diagnostic lab setting. Objectives include performing venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, ensuring specimen integrity, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities encompass collecting samples for various tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), accurate data entry, specimen processing, and administrative duties. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months experience; strong communication skills and customer service focus. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience; proven reliability and flexibility. High-Value: work in a clinical diagnostics environment, specimen collection, data management, customer interaction, and potential travel between sites. Work setup: Patient Service Center; schedule Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm; travel as needed.
