Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and delivering high-quality patient service at Labcorp's Toms River, NJ location. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, process specimens for testing, enter data accurately, and handle administrative tasks including billing and specimen logs. The role also involves traveling between sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience or certification from an accredited agency; strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently, reliably, and flexibly; pass a color blindness test. Preferred: over 1 year of experience. High-Value: clinical laboratory setting, specimen collection, patient interaction, potential for growth, and participation in incentive plans. Work setup: onsite in Toms River, with travel as required; schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
