Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection, specimen processing, and customer service in laboratory settings, primarily at Labcorp's Berkeley location. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, handle specimen preparation, accurately enter patient data, and manage administrative tasks including billing and specimen logs. May require travel to additional sites. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, valid California Phlebotomy License, strong communication skills, customer service focus, ability to work independently, and flexibility for overtime and training. Preferred: 1+ month phlebotomy experience, prior Labcorp experience. High-Value: clinical specimen collection, diagnostic testing, patient interaction, training in California, focus on quality and compliance. Work setup: on-site with potential travel; schedule Monday-Friday with possible Saturday rotations.
