Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for plasma collection via venipuncture and pheresis procedures, ensuring donor safety, product quality, and compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities: perform donor setup, monitoring, disconnect; evaluate vein performance; educate donors; respond to reactions; record incidents using PDA; troubleshoot equipment; monitor donor flow; collect samples; maintain accurate data entry; adhere to safety and confidentiality protocols; support hyper immune programs if applicable. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (preferably 1+ year); 12 months healthcare environment experience preferred; ability to perform physical tasks (standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, manual dexterity); familiarity with safety protocols, bloodborne pathogens, and PPE use.
