Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection services at Labcorp's Poughkeepsie site, supporting diagnostic testing for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws, collect specimens for various tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), accurately enter patient data, prepare specimens for analysis, and deliver excellent customer service. Also includes administrative tasks and travel to additional sites as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months experience; proven customer service skills, strong communication, reliability, and ability to work independently. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience; certification from an accredited agency.
