Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and providing customer service in a clinical laboratory setting. Objectives include accurate specimen collection across all age groups, data entry, and specimen preparation for testing, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities encompass performing venipuncture, collecting various tests, maintaining logs, and supporting administrative tasks; travel to additional sites may be required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; preferred 2+ years of clinical/hospital phlebotomy experience, including pediatric to geriatric patients; current or prior Labcorp experience is advantageous. Additional standards include certification or training from an accredited agency, ability to pass color blindness test, and flexibility for overtime. Skills: exceptional customer service, strong communication, ability to work independently or in teams, and adapt to minimal supervision.
