Phlebotomist

Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring product quality and donor safety. Responsibilities: conduct venipuncture, monitor and troubleshoot equipment, record donor data accurately, educate donors on plasma donation, and maintain a safe, compliant environment according to SOPs, FDA guidelines, and safety policies. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in a healthcare setting; ability to perform venipuncture, troubleshoot equipment, and work physically in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: additional experience in medical or healthcare environments, bilingual skills, and cross-training. High-Value: experience with blood/plasma donation, compliance with HSE and OSHA policies, handling hazardous materials, and proficiency with electronic data recording. Work setup: may involve extended hours, overtime, standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemicals.
