Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist at Labcorp, responsible for blood collection and specimen processing in a clinical setting. Objectives: provide accurate specimen collection, ensure specimen integrity, and deliver high-quality customer service. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, process various tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), enter data precisely, manage billing and payments, maintain logs, and support administrative tasks. Work involves travel to multiple sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred 2+ years of experience or certification from an accredited agency; proven customer service skills; strong communication; ability to work independently; reliable transportation; pass a color vision test.
