Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood specimen collection services in clinical or laboratory settings. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups, handle specimens for various tests, ensure accurate data entry, process billing, prepare samples for analysis, maintain logs, and deliver excellent patient/customer service. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in phlebotomy or 3+ months experience; strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and reliability. Preferred: 6+ months phlebotomy experience; ability to work independently; flexible schedule including weekends; pass a color blindness test.
