Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen handling services at Labcorp's Shelby, NC location. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws, collect various specimens, ensure accurate data entry, process samples for testing, maintain logs, and deliver superior customer service. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or completion of accredited training, or 3+ months experience; preferred 6+ months experience. High-Value: proficiency in specimen collection techniques, data accuracy, customer service skills, ability to work independently or in teams, and passing color blindness tests. Work setup: onsite with a schedule of Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:30pm, rotating weekends; flexible to work overtime.
