Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing specimen collection and customer service in clinical or client settings, supporting diagnostic testing processes. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws; collect specimens for various tests; accurately document patient info; process specimens and billing; maintain logs; deliver high-quality patient service; handle administrative duties. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months experience; strong communication skills; reliable transportation; pass color blindness test. Preferred: 6+ months phlebotomy experience. High-Value: patient specimen collection, blood draws, specimen processing, customer service focus; administrative and clerical tasks; flexible schedule, with potential overtime; competitive pay range. Work setup: onsite in Dulles, VA; schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; part of a healthcare diagnostics environment.
