Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for plasma collection via pheresis, ensuring donor safety, process efficiency, and compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture, monitor and adjust pheresis procedures, troubleshoot equipment, record donor data accurately, educate donors on plasma donation, and manage safety protocols. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist or in healthcare; proficiency in blood collection procedures; ability to troubleshoot equipment; strong attention to safety, confidentiality, and process documentation. Preferred: additional experience in medical or healthcare settings; bilingual skills may be advantageous. High-Value: focus on plasma donation, pheresis procedures, donor safety, and SOP compliance; work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemicals; ability to work extended hours including overtime; physical ability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform manual tasks.
